When it comes to a bathroom remodel, choosing what elements to incorporate can be overwhelming – especially if you’re making significant changes. At P.J. Fitzpatrick, our bath experts are here to help with answers to some of our most common bath questions:

Should I choose a bathtub or a shower?

Whether you choose a bathtub or shower depends on how much room you have in your bathroom and what kind of bathing experience you’re looking for. If you love the idea of relaxing in a bathtub at the end of a long day and you have the space for it, we recommend opting for a tub. If, however, you rarely take baths and would like more room for other bathroom elements, our bath experts suggest a shower.

Do you offer more than one color?

Yes! Our bathtubs and showers come in a wide variety of colors to complement any style of bathroom. From solid Quarry Topaz, Platinum Grey, and Sandshell Beige to Moroccan Marble, Tahiti Marble, textured stone, and more, there are plenty of shades to choose from.

What are the benefits of installing a shower?

While some people really enjoy baths, others have a bathtub in their bathroom that they rarely use. If you’re not a “bath” person, having a tub just takes up valuable space. That’s why we offer tub to shower conversions. We can turn your bathtub into an easy-to-use shower that gives you more room in your bathroom and quick way to bathe.

What do I need to do to prepare for a bathroom update?

It’s a good idea to have an ultimate vision in mind for your bathroom, including the layout, style of fixture, color scheme, and more. The more you know going into an update, the better our bath experts can help bring your vision to life.

What other features do you offer?

We offer a variety of features to make your shower or bath experience easier and safer.

Available shower features:

  • Low threshold or barrier free
  • Hand rails
  • Built-in seats
  • Slip-resistant flooring
  • Adjustable/removable shower heads

Available bathtub features:

  • Built-in seats
  • Various threshold heights
  • Hand rails
  • Slip-resistant flooring
  • Adjustable/removable shower heads

What materials are used for your bathtubs and showers?

All of our bath fixtures are built from 100% durable acrylic material and are resistant to cracks and other damage. They’re also sealed to protect them from dirt build-up, mold and mildew. And because the high-quality acrylic is low maintenance, you won’t have to spend all of your time cleaning your tub or shower.

How long does a tub or shower installation take?

In most cases, our bath experts can complete your bathtub installation, shower installation, or tub-to-shower conversion in one day!
