Alternative Siding Styles For Your Home

Posted on November 18, 2010 in Home Improvement, Home Remodeling, Siding

There are three types of alternative siding that you can choose to meet the specific needs and desires of your home.

Original Wood

Although leaving the original wood exposed can be aesthetically pleasing, the amount of maintenance needed to keep the wood in good shape will add up quickly.  Painting and applying finisher and then reapplying them can get to be a serious pain, but then again, there are people out there that enjoy doing it and the natural look you get can sometimes be worth it.

Stucco has been used for a long time in many homes and is an excellent alternative to ordinary siding.  Stucco comes in a wide variety of colors and styles which may set your home apart from your neighborhood.  Stucco is relatively easy to install, but can get a little more pricey.

You can give a unique look to your house with veneer siding.  Giving a welcome deviation from the traditional siding, you can give your home the brick, rock or any other style that you choose. They are easy to install and require little to no maintenance.

P.J. Fitzpatrick, Inc. installs a variety of siding types to make your home not only look better but protect it with the very best materials in the industry. We are a Certified Vinyl Siding Installer with Certainteed and an award winning company with an excellent track record.
