Something as simple as re-applying caulk to an exterior door can help out.

We’ve had a pretty mild fall thus far, and it’s still pretty nice out even for December.  That said, the past few years we’ve run into some bitterly cold weather in January and February and we know a lot of people have been thinking about what they can have done around their house to keep it nice and warm while lowering their monthly energy bill.  We have a number of services that we offer here at P.J. Fitzpatrick to help out and we thought we’d go over a few of them briefly.

We offer a couple of insulation services, most notably we install eShield™ Radiant Barrier Energy Reflective Insulation. One of the most cost effective ways to lower your energy bill,

We also install storm windows.

eShield helps retain your home’s interior warmth in winter and deflect radiant energy from your home in the summer.  We also perform more conventional insulation services as well.

In addition to insulation our repair specialists have a number of things they can do around your home to help keep the cold out.  Re-caulking drafty windows, re-adjusting chilly/squeaky doors, weatherstrip installation, you would be surprised at what a difference a small, inexpensive repair can make!
