How to Install a Gutter Liner System

A gutter liner system closes leaks and restores the proper flow of water off a roof. How to install a gutter liner system involves buying a flexible sheet liner that adheres to the existing gutter. This product works with vinyl, metal, or concrete gutters. You may want gutter liners if your gutters leak, but you don’t want to replace them completely. The liner seals the little holes that have developed in the gutter. Gutter liners come in many sizes depending on your roof size and pitch.

When following the steps for how to install a gutter liner system, choose a day with moderate temperatures. You don’t want it to be freezing or excessively hot. The cold or the heat will compromise the flexibility of the gutter lining product.
