Direct answer

Does PJ Fitzpatrick serve Terrace Park, Ohio?

Yes. PJ Fitzpatrick serves Terrace Park and the surrounding east side of Greater Cincinnati through its Greater Cincinnati office in Fairfield, Ohio. Work in and around the village includes Milford, Mariemont, Indian Hill, Camp Dennison, Miami Township, Newtown, Fairfax, Madeira, and Anderson Township.

Terrace Park’s ZIP code is 45174. Crews also cover nearby addresses in 45150, 45227, 45243, 45111, 45244, and 45140, across eastern Hamilton County and western Clermont County.

Terrace Park is a small village with a long building record. Houses built before 1920 sit a few lots from 1930s brick-and-stucco story-and-a-halfs, Sears kit houses, prefabricated Gunnison houses, postwar homes from the decades when the village tripled in size, and newer houses built where older ones came down. Almost all of it sits under a mature tree canopy. A repair on a century-old house and a roof on a 1990s two-story are not the same job.

PJ Fitzpatrick services for Terrace Park homes

Every service below is available in Terrace Park. Estimates are written after an in-home evaluation. A pre-1920 house near the village green and a 1990s two-story on a newer street are not the same job, so the price comes after someone has been on the house.

Roofing repair & replacement

CertainTeed ShingleMaster Premier installations, including architectural shingles. Most full replacements are completed in a day. Repairs cover missing shingles, flashing, wind lift, limb damage, and the freeze-thaw leaks that show up when a January day climbs above freezing and the night drops well below it.

Roofing services
Vinyl siding installation by PJ Fitzpatrick

Siding repair & replacement

Vinyl siding in colors and textures that hold up to humid Ohio Valley summers and the algae that grows on walls shaded by the village’s street trees. CertainTeed SidingMaster Premier credential. Repairs match existing panels so a storm-damaged elevation does not look patched.

Siding services
Energy-efficient replacement windows

Window replacement

Double-hung, casement, awning, and bay windows in vinyl, wood, and fiberglass. A tighter unit cuts winter drafts on an older Terrace Park house and takes the edge off traffic noise along Wooster Pike.

Window services
Custom entry door installation

Entry, patio & sliding doors

Custom-made, Energy Star entry doors, French doors, and sliding patio doors. A practical upgrade on an older house with tired weatherstripping, and a common request for the back patio on postwar and newer homes.

Door services
Seamless gutter and gutter guard installation

Gutters & gutter protection

Seamless aluminum gutters in more than 30 colors, plus Klean Gutter leaf guards with a no-clog guarantee. Useful under the mature street trees that line nearly every block. The village runs its own fall leaf collection for a reason.

Gutter services
Walk-in shower and bath remodeling

Tubs, showers & bath remodeling

Tub-to-shower conversions, low-threshold walk-in showers, and custom fixtures. A frequent request in older homes with a single full bath, and in family houses that need a safer main bath. Many baths are completed in a day.

Bath services
Repairs Roof, siding, door, gutter, and general exterior repairs that fix the cause, not only the surface. A dedicated repair department handles work other contractors left unfinished.
Blow-in insulation Attic insulation for Terrace Park houses built long before modern levels were common, including story-and-a-half houses with tight attic space behind the knee walls. Helps with January cold and July humidity.
Storm & missing-shingle work After a windstorm drops limbs on a roof, or hail moves through eastern Hamilton County, crews inspect, document, and repair so a small opening does not become an interior leak.

A short background on Terrace Park

Terrace Park sits on a broad plain above the Little Miami River, east of Cincinnati between Mariemont and Milford. The mound-building Hopewell people lived here long before European settlers arrived. In the late 1780s, Revolutionary War veteran Abraham Covalt brought a party down the Ohio River from Pennsylvania and up the Little Miami, and built Covalt Station near where St. Thomas Church stands today.

The Little Miami Railroad arrived in 1841. After the Civil War it carried Cincinnati families out to summer camps along the river, including Miami Grove, now the village nature preserve. A post office named Terrace Park opened around 1879, Robinson’s Circus kept its winter quarters here for more than 30 years, and in 1893 residents incorporated the village to head off annexation by Cincinnati. Terrace Park started the 20th century with 290 residents. The 2020 census counted 2,355.

That growth came in spurts, and the houses show it. The village more than tripled between 1930 and 1970, so homes from before 1920 stand near 1930s brick-and-stucco story-and-a-halfs, Sears kit houses, prefabricated Gunnison houses, and postwar homes. Since the 1990s, new houses have gone up on remaining lots and on lots where an older house was taken down. Original roofs, flashing, and gutters on the early houses and production-grade materials on the newer ones are now aging out at different rates.

Few villages document themselves this well. The Terrace Park Historical Society keeps files on every street and home in the village, and the Terrace Park Building Survey, a project of the Terrace Park Woman’s Club, records build dates, styles, and permit histories house by house. The Historical Society awards bronze plaques to houses built in or before 1920 and to significant styles such as Sears, Gunnison, and International. On a house like that, a matched repair that disappears into the existing elevation is often a better choice than a full replacement, and the evaluation should say so.

What the local climate does to a house

Greater Cincinnati sits on the line between humid continental and humid subtropical climates. At the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport, July normals run near 86°F in the afternoon and 66°F at night, with close to four inches of rain for the month. January normals run near 40°F and 23°F, with about 7.7 inches of snow. Those January numbers matter most for a roof: a normal day thaws, a normal night refreezes, and water that works under a shingle or into a gutter seam does it again the next day.

Wind is the storm this area remembers. On September 14, 2008, the remnants of Hurricane Ike crossed the region with a record 74 mph gust at the airport. About 782,000 of Duke Energy’s roughly 900,000 regional customers lost power, mostly from trees and lines coming down, and Hamilton and Clermont counties were among those under state emergency declarations. It remains Ohio’s costliest wind event in insured losses. In a village defined by its tree canopy, that is the failure to plan for: limbs on roofs, crushed gutters, and torn flashing.

Closer to the river, the Little Miami sets its own risk. The 1913 flood still marks the record crest at neighboring Milford, and part of Terrace Park lies in the mapped floodplain, though most of the village sits up on the plain above it. For most houses, the everyday problems are the ones shade and humidity create: algae on north walls, moss on shaded roofs, leaf-packed gutters every fall, and under-vented attics on older houses. Repairs need a contractor who will look at attic airflow, chimney and wall flashing, gutter pitch, and whether the existing siding can be matched before quoting a replacement.

Why Terrace Park homeowners call PJ Fitzpatrick

Credentials that mean something on a roof

CertainTeed ShingleMaster Premier since 2004, CertainTeed Triple Crown winner, Guildmaster Award, and 2025/2026 Philly Favorites recognition for roofing, windows, and baths.

A written estimate, on the house

An in-home evaluation comes first. Nobody should quote a Terrace Park roof from a photo alone. If something later goes wrong with the installation, we treat it as our problem, not yours.

Repairs as a real department

Not every Terrace Park house needs a full replacement. Matching materials and fixing the source of a leak is often the better first move on an otherwise sound home.

Warranties that travel with the house

Lifetime material and workmanship options on qualifying roofing and other systems, including enhanced CertainTeed SureStart PLUS coverage available through Premier contractors.

Older houses get a different scope

A full vinyl wrap is not the default on a pre-1920 house or a plaqued Sears or Gunnison home. Matching trim, siding profile, and roofline details keeps the house’s character, and the evaluation should say what fits before anything is ordered.

Questions Terrace Park homeowners actually ask

Does PJ Fitzpatrick serve Terrace Park, Ohio?

Yes. PJ Fitzpatrick serves Terrace Park and nearby east-side communities including Milford, Mariemont, Indian Hill, Camp Dennison, Miami Township, Newtown, Fairfax, Madeira, and Anderson Township, through its Greater Cincinnati office in Fairfield, Ohio.

What ZIP codes around Terrace Park do you cover?

45174 is Terrace Park’s ZIP code. Nearby work also includes 45150 (Milford and Miami Township), 45227 (Mariemont and Fairfax), 45243 (Indian Hill and Madeira), 45111 (Camp Dennison), 45244 (Newtown and Anderson Township), and 45140 (Loveland). If your town is not listed, call anyway.

Do you work on older and historic homes in Terrace Park?

Yes. Pre-1920 houses, Sears kit homes, and Gunnison prefabs need careful flashing, trim, and material matching. A full vinyl wrap is not the default recommendation on a house with original details. The evaluation should say what fits the house before anything is ordered.

Can you replace a roof and gutters on the same house?

Yes. Roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, insulation, repairs, and baths are all in-house services. Combining a roof and gutter project is common after limbs come down in a windstorm, or when gutters have been crushed or overloaded under mature trees.

How do I get an estimate?

Call 1-833-526-2888 or request an estimate online. A representative follows up to schedule an in-home visit. You receive a written estimate after that visit. No one should quote a Terrace Park roof from a photo alone.
